Enquiries and communication
We ask for your name, email, selected service and message to respond to your request. Company and telephone are optional. Please do not send passwords, identity numbers or sensitive information. The enquiry email records your communication choice, optional email-marketing choice, time and notice version. Without the required details and communication agreement, this form cannot be sent; you can still contact us by phone or email.
Marketing permission is separate, optional and unchecked. To withdraw it, email info@pretocom.co.za with “Unsubscribe”. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully performed. We may also process enquiry information where needed to take requested steps towards a contract, meet legal obligations or protect legitimate interests, subject to POPIA.
Cookies and optional analytics
Essential PHP session cookies secure forms. A preference cookie and local-storage entry remember your choice for up to 180 days. Optional analytics stays off until you allow it. Use to change your choice. Rejecting analytics does not prevent use of the website.
On the installed PHP website, opted-in analytics records aggregate daily page views, service-card views, contact clicks, enquiry attempts and enquiries accepted by the mail server, with approved traffic-source and campaign codes. It does not store names, emails, message text, full URLs, IP addresses or persistent visitor IDs in analytics. There are no advertising trackers. Hosting security logs may separately contain IP addresses under the provider's controls.
Storage, sharing and retention
Enquiries are sent to Pretocom's email service. Hosting and email providers process information to operate those services, and information may be disclosed where legally required. Analytics stays in a protected folder on the website server; it is not sent to Google Analytics. Aggregate analytics is limited to 90 days, with expired entries removed on the next recorded event. Enquiry emails should be retained only as long as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable record-keeping obligations.
Hosting and email providers may process information outside South Africa. International processing requires appropriate safeguards under POPIA. Pretocom must confirm its actual providers, locations and retention arrangements before this notice is used on the public business website.
Your rights and complaints
You may request access to or correction of your personal information, request deletion where applicable, object to processing and withdraw consent. We may need proportionate identity verification to protect your information. Contact info@pretocom.co.za. You may also complain to South Africa's Information Regulator.
